Swing Trading leveraged ETF's is a hustle, but be careful.

$FAS has entered the oversold position and has started a reversal.

This is the leveraged version of $XLF which is an ETF for banks. Swing trading leveraged ETFS can be very profitable, but I am usually looking for a possible 20-30% upside potential. What I do not like about it is that there is not a lot of upside potential if it continues to meet resistance at its previous two highs of the $39 dollar mark. That will give you only about a 6% return on $FAS and that is not a terrific opportunity. Keeping life simple, you always are looking for simple swing trading opportunities, there is an opportunity, but not one I am jumping into. The market looks weak, but no one can predict a downturn. You do not need to jump at every pullback and on this one I am out. According to my trading style it is a swing trade possibility, but I am not comfortable with the risk vs reward.

Leveraged ETF chart
No one wants to sit on cash, as cash sucks. The goal is to have your money multiplying. Keep in mind you cannot take advantage of opportunities with cash on the sideline though. The market is at a greater odd for a big pullback then a run up. I am repositioning my account and went all cash besides one position I am holding still thinking if I should add or get out. If you want to take a risk at a 5-10% run $FAS might be ready, but always gauge your risk which is a good downside. If you are new to investing, I would seek advice and articles here for investing money for beginners and do not recommend jumping right into trading until you know more about what you are looking at. I have a short stock watch list, and this is one that is on it, and the only this one and another one that is oversold. I am more inclined to enter the other one, and may do so today. Look for what one that is coming up.
